Women’s Golf places ninth at Newman Invitational

ANDOVER, Kan. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Golf finished ninth Tuesday as it wrapped up the Newman Invitational at Terradyne Country Club. The Lions carded a 595 (+27) over the two rounds with rounds of 299 and 296. They tied for sixth with 109 pars and recorded 16 birdies. Catherine Haas-Black and Ali Perry led the Lions be each carding a 148 (+6). Haas-Black had rounds of 75-73 with four birdies and 22 pars.
