Women’s Soccer Blanks Howard Payne on Senior Night

ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Concordia University Texas women’s soccer team celebrated Senior Night with its first win of the season, shutting out Howard Payne University, 2-0, Sunday night at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Concordia wasted little time getting on the board. In the 11th minute, senior Maddie Oberholtzer had her penalty kick saved, but stayed with the play and put away the rebound to give the Tornados an early 1-0 advantage.
