Women’s Volleyball Defeats Wellesley in a Five Set Thriller

BOX SCORE Springfield, Mass. — September 22, 2026 — The Springfield College women’s volleyball team defeated New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opponent Wellesley 3-2 in a five set thriller to open up conference play in Blake Arena on Tuesday night. With the win, head coach Moira Long earned her 650th career win as the Pride improve to 9-2 overall and 1-0 in the NEWMAC while Wellesley drops to 6-3, 0-1.
