Asbury Defeats Franklin, 5-2; Scott Scores Twice

WILMORE, Ky. — The Asbury women’s soccer team (5-1-1, 1-0 CCS) used a dominant second-half performance to pull away from Franklin College (2-5-1, 1-0-0 HCAC), scoring four goals in a seven-minute span to a 5-2 victory. Asbury opened the scoring in the 30th minute when Macy Scott found the back of the net on an assist from Madison Andrews, giving the Eagles a 1-0 advantage.
