Asbury Drops Conference Match on Road at Covenant

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Asbury volleyball (6-4, 2-1 CCS) fell to Covenant College (11-1, 4-0 CCS), 3-0, Wednesday evening at the Barnes PE Center in Collegiate Conference of the South action. The Eagles dropped the opening set, 25-21, before battling Covenant in a tightly contested second set. Asbury claimed a 25-24 lead late in the frame, but the Scots responded with three straight points to take the set, 27-25. Covenant then closed out the match with a 25-15 third-set victory.
