Colts Placing WR Alec Pierce On Injured Reserve

Colts NFL Transactions Colts HC Shane Steichen announced they are placing WR Alec Pierce on injured reserve, via Mike Chappell. This was expected after Pierce re-aggravated a foot injury in Week 2 against the Chiefs. He had offseason ankle surgery and while he made it back in time to start the season, he had been on a snap count and limited in practice.
