Concord Handles Point Park in 2-0 Win

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men’s soccer team used a dominant second half to overpower Point Park 2-0 in Mountain East Conference action at Callaghan Stadium Wednesday afternoon. After a quiet first half from both sides, Concord (5-1-2, 3-1 MEC) scored twice in the second half as the Mountain Lions became too much for Point Park (3-4-2, 2-3 MEC) to handle. The first goal of the contest came via a penalty kick in the 57 th minute.
