Malone and Metaferia Awarded With Big South Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two High Point University women's cross country runners have been awarded with Big South Conference weekly honors. Brianna Malone lead the Panthers in the NC State Adidas XC Challange and takes home conference Runner of the Week. Freshman Ruth Metaferia has been named Big South Freshman of the Week for the first time this fall. Malone placed ninth at the meet with a time of 5k time of 17:00.8.
