McNeese’s Martin, Castro-Martin named SLC Runners of the Week

FRISCO, Texas - McNeese cross country runners Greg Martin and Uxue Castro-Martin have been named this week's Southland Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week for their performance at last Friday's LSU Twilight Cross Country Relay, the league office announced on Wednesday. Greg Martin led the Cowboys to a team win at the meet after running a 4k time of 12:16.3, three seconds faster than his paired teammate of Ryan McCarthy as the duo were two of McNeese squads to finish in the top five spots.
