Neuroscience major plays vital role as leader for Raiders

On the court, she directs the offense while providing much-needed leadership on one of the youngest Colgate volleyball teams in years. But when she’s not setting up her teammates, Ava Schabes ’27 is a neuroscience major with a fascination for research, fresh off an internship that occupied most of her last two summers while paving the way for her future.
