After Winning Kansas City Cup, Diaz-Pizarro Named GLVC Women’s Golf Player of the Week

Maryville University senior Fernanda Diaz-Pizarro was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Women's Golf Player of the Week. She picked up the recognition after winning the Kansas City Cup by eight shots to top the field of 46 golfers. Diaz-Pizarro shot three straight rounds at par and finished 72-72-72=216 at Paradise Point Golf Complex in Smithville, Mo. She led the tournament with nine total birdies.
