Cards’ Unbeaten Streak Snapped in Natchitoches

NATCHITOCHES, La. – Lamar University couldn't find the back of the net Thursday evening as Northwestern State scored twice in the second half to defeat the Cardinals, 2-0. The loss puts an end to Big Red's seven-match unbeaten streak. The Cardinals (4-2-3, 1-1 Southland) finished the match with 11 shots and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
