Clay Edmondson ’25 Named a Midwest League All-Star

FULL FORT WAYNE TINCAPS RELEASE FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Former UNC Asheville pitcher Clay Edmondson ’25 was recently named as a Midwest League All-Star representing the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. Edmondson made 23 appearances this season, picking up 11 saves which was the second-highest total in all of Minor League Baseball. He totaled 27 innings pitching to a 1.67 earned run average while striking out 38 and holding opposing hitters to a .134 batting average against.
