The Canadian Premier League’s trial of Arsène Wenger’s daylight offside rule is prompting more conversation in the aftermath of Inter Toronto FC’s 97th minute equalizer on Wednesday night against Vancouver FC. Trailing 3-2, Tomasz Skublak scored deep in stoppage-time to rescue a point for his side. Clearly offside in traditional terms, the goal was allowed to stand because of the adapted interpretation.
