Vikings Open GNAC Play With Shutout Victory

LACEY, Wash. – The Western Washington University men’s soccer team opened GNAC play with a 1-0 victory on the road at Saint Martin’s Thursday afternoon. The game was scoreless through the first 84 minutes before the Vikings sealed the win on a penalty kick goal by senior midfielder Edgar Serrano . Sophomore midfielder Landon Schulze drew a foul inside the box when he was spinning away from his defender after a throw-in by the Vikings.
