Commanders won’t place QB Jayden Daniels on injured reserve

The Washington Commanders got some good news concerning their franchise quarterback. Jayden Daniels won't be placed on the injured reserve after suffering a dislocated elbow in Week 2 and is now considered week-to-week, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday. Though he's unlikely to be out long-term, Washington will still have to go without Daniels for its Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, with backup QB Marcus Mariota set to lead the way.
