DeGroot Posts Program-Best Time at Augustana Invitational

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Northwestern women's cross country team finished 11th with 342 points in the 6K at Friday morning's Augustana Invitational, led by Emily DeGroot's record-setting time. Emily De Groot led the Raiders' finishers, placing 22nd in 21:29.3 to break her own program record in the 6K. Kayden Spencer finished 74th in 22:39.5, Brooklyn Fryar placed 129th in 23:45.4, and Iris Melody was 137th in 23:54.8. Northwestern placed third among the five NAIA teams in the field.
