Girls Cross Country runs to the top

The Aliso Niguel girls cross country team began their 2026-2027 season with a non-league meet at Woodbridge High School on Sept. 19 with a 5 kilometer race. The girls competed against 12 schools and runners raced in different events. The team has six upcoming invitational meets, featuring more than 30 schools. All of which will give them an idea of who they’re up against for the league title. The meets will give the Wolverines an opportunity to evaluate their competition before the Sea View League meet Nov. 3. Coach Colwell says, “the team is rebuilding this year from the loss…
