Jesus Orozco, a junior at Alisal High School, shares his personal story as the “Underdog” of Alisal’s dominant season to come. Jesus Orozco wasn’t always seen as a competitive runner. At the start of his cross-country career at Alisal High, he often lost himself in the pack. “I was often overlooked by opponents, coaches and teammates in the beginning simply because it was my first year, and my first time running entirely for a sport,” Orozco shared.
