UND Women Place Fourth, Men Show Strong at Gans Creek Classic

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The North Dakota cross country teams turned in a strong showing at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday morning, highlighted by a fourth-place finish and personal records throughout the lineup for the Fighting Hawks women. Every North Dakota women’s competitor established a new 6K personal record, while UND’s freshmen competed in a collegiate 6K for the first time. The performances helped North Dakota finish fourth in the 29-team field with 169 points, trailing only Missouri, Kentucky and Florida State.
