Women’s Cross Country Wins Again

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Fort Hays State women’s cross country team claimed its second victory in as many races on Friday (Sept. 25), winning the Gans Creek Classic in a 23-team field with 108 points. The Tigers finished 31 points ahead of second-place Western Kentucky, one of four NCAA Division I teams FHSU defeated. Junior Emma Weiner led the Tigers with a 12th-place finish out of 255 finishers, crossing the line in the six-kilometer race in 21:52.4.
