Boxers shut out Whitworth 1-0

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Trenton Zimmermann scored in the 53rd minute and Kobi Miyamoto made four saves as the Pacific men’s soccer team shut out Whitworth 1-0 Saturday afternoon at Hanson Stadium. The Boxers improved to 2-3-2 overall and 2-1-2 in Northwest Conference play. After a scoreless first half, Pacific broke through when Max Bowman played the ball to Zimmermann, who scored his third goal of the season to give the Boxers the lead.
