Flames sign Alex Nylander to one-year, two-way deal

Alex Nylander has earned himself a contract. The Calgary Flames have signed the forward to a one-year, two-way deal off his professional tryout, the team announced on Friday. The deal is worth $850,000 in the NHL. Nylander spent 2025-26 with the AHL's Toronto Marlies, recording 24 goals and 29 assists for 53 points in 65 games. He also scored six goals in the Marlies' post-season run that saw them win the Calder Cup.
