Gib’s First Half Goal Powers Bulldogs Past High Point on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women’s Soccer saw a first-half goal from Alex Gib power the Bulldogs past High Point 1-0 at Greenwood Field on Saturday (Sept. 26), with Asheville snapping an eight-match losing streak in the series with their first win against the Panthers since a 1-0 victory back on Oct. 7, 2017. The victory also marks the first time since 2008 that the Bulldogs have started 2-0-0 in conference play.
