Goal in Final Seconds Earns BIG EAST Point for Bulldogs

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women’s soccer team used a dramatic goal to earn a draw with Marquette on Saturday night. The goal from Gemma Gillespie came with nine seconds on the clock in what was the first match of BIG EAST competition for both sides. After a scoreless first half, and with the clock winding down, the visiting Golden Eagles (4-1-5, 0-0-1 BIG EAST) seemed to be in control having scored the match’s only goal in the 75 th minute.
