Kraken’s Mackie Samoskevich Day-to-Day with Upper-Body Injury

Seattle Kraken forward Mackie Samoskevich is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the club announced Saturday morning. The Kraken also announced that Samoskevich will not play in Saturday’s preseason game against the Vancouver Canucks. Saturday is the final day of the 2026 NHL preseason before the 2026-27 regular season begins on Sept. 29. Samoskevich, 23, skated in Seattle’s 4-3 shootout win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday, posting a plus-2 rating despite recording no points in 18:30 of ice time.
