Men’s Soccer Explodes In Second Half, Tops Harvard 4-1

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men’s soccer team exploded for four second-half goals and the Big Red claimed a win in its Ivy opener, defeating Harvard 4-1 on Saturday afternoon at Berman Field. Cornell (5-2, 1-0 Ivy) won its third straight contest, while Harvard slipped to 1-5-1 (0-1 Ivy). Senior Adam Schaban had a goal and an assist and junior Kasper Wollstein tallied twice as Cornell put up four goals in a 34-minute stretch of the second half after a first half with only five combined shots.
