Pioneers Open 2026-27 Season with Win Over Westmont

The Cal State East Bay women's swimming team opened the 2026-27 season with a strong showing, earning a 167-95 victory over Westmont College. The Pioneers put together a balanced performance throughout the meet, highlighted by strong relay swims and nine individual event victories from five different swimmers. Freshman Alyssa Corkery made an immediate impact in her collegiate debut, earning a pair of individual wins.
