SUNY New Paltz Cross Country Take on Nationally Ranked Field at Fairgrounds Showdown

GREENWICH, NY – The State University of New York at New Paltz cross country team(s) were in action today at the Fairgrounds Showdown hosted by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The men ran an 8k and women a 6k at Washington County Fairgrounds located thirty minutes north of RPI’s campus in Troy, NY. The men came in tenth out of fifteen teams. The women finished twelfth out of sixteen teams. Luca Maneri led the men’s team with a twenty-sixth place finish in a new personal best time of 24:52.8 on the 8k course.
