Team Gold Wins Blue/Gold Intrasquad Meet

FAIRBANKS – The Nanooks swimming team kicked off its season on Friday afternoon with its annual Blue/Gold Intrasquad meet at the Patty Center Pool. Team Gold claimed the 123-86 victory, winning eight of the 13 events on the day. The meet began with a 200-yard medley relay, where the team of Monica Botha, Dorka Dancsok, Marilia Persidou and Sam Bristor grabbed the win for Gold, finishing the event in 1:51.70.
