Volleyball Tripped Up by No. 17 Hornets

HAYS, Kan. – The Fort Hays State volleyball team took 17th-ranked Emporia State to four sets on Saturday (Sept. 26) before falling to the Hornets 3-1, losing 22-25, 24-26, 25-21 and 16-25. Fort Hays State (11-6, 1-3 MIAA) finished with 57 kills and hit .193, while Emporia State (14-2, 2-1 MIAA) totaled 67 kills at a .261 clip.
