WATCH: Richie Laryea takes nasty backheel kick to the face: Red card for Chile’s Lucas Cepeda gives Canada advantage

There’s always drama when Canada play South American opposition, and usually, Richie Laryea has a hand in it. But Saturday night he had medical hands on his face after taking a nasty backheel kick to the head. The Toronto FC fullback started at left-back, as he continually has in the prolonged absence of CanMNT captain Alphonso Davies, and was locked in a first half tussle with Chile winger Lucas Cepeda on several drives.
