Women’s Tennis Collects Key Wins at Day 1 of NEC Individuals

VESTAL, N.Y. — Wagner women's tennis completed its first day at the NEC Individuals on Friday, coming away with multiple wins throughout the multiple singles flights. Junior Liepa Sataite earned the No. 7 seed in the Flight A bracket and won her first round match against Binghamton's Apara Khandare with a 6-3, 6-4 final score. Sataite would lose in the next round however, dropping the quarterfinal match 0-6, 1-6 to FDU's Sophia Fredericks-McKee.
