Bailey, Irving card top-ten finishes, ‘Cats finish third at Chambers Bay

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Linfield men’s golf finished tied for third at the Whitworth Golf Invitational among a strong field, closing the two-day tournament at Chambers Bay with two individuals earning top-ten finishes. The Wildcats opened the tournament with a 6-over 294 before carding an 11-over 299 in the final round. Linfield shared third place with conference rival Whitworth, finishing two strokes behind second-place Aurora. Sewanee won the tournament at 4-under.
