Eagles Open Season With Strong Diving Showing

MOULTRIE, GA. – Georgia Southern diving opened the 2026-27 season with a strong showing at the Moultrie Invite, highlighted by a first-place finish from fourth-year Abby Ounsworth in the women's one-meter event. Ounsworth posted a score of 240.83 across six dives to claim the individual title, while teammate McKinlee Taulbee finished second with a score of 231.15. Georgia Southern placed five divers among the top seven, with Haley Aschenbrenner finishing fourth at 209.03 and Avery Nardone taking fifth with 207.23.
