Grinnell bounces back from first loss by toppling Carleton
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – A day after suffering its first loss of the season, Grinnell College’s men’s soccer team got back on track Sunday with a 1-0 victory at Carleton College. It marked the Pioneers’ first victory against the Knights since 1989 and broke a string in which Grinnell posted a 0-9-1 mark against Carleton. Grinnell (8-1) scored in the ninth minute when Oliver Klemm ’29 found the back of the net for his third goal of the season and career.
