Jackson State Volleyball Battles Past Texas Southern, 3-1

JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State University volleyball continued its strong start to Southwestern Athletic Conference play Sunday afternoon, battling past Texas Southern, 3-1, inside the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The Tigers took the match by scores of 25-18, 16-25, 25-23 and 25-23, improving to 6-9 overall and 2-0 in SWAC competition. Jackson State came out aggressively in the opening set, using a balanced offensive attack to claim a 25-18 victory.
