Knights finish sixth, Yuan ties for second at September Showdown

FARIBAULT, Minn. — The Carleton women’s golf team completed play at the September Showdown on Sunday, posting a final-round score of 39-over-par 327 at Faribault Golf Course to finish sixth in the seven-team field. The Knights compiled a 36-hole total of 67-over-par 643 (316-327) across the two-day tournament. Macalester College staged a second-round comeback to win the team title at 19-over-par 595 (301-294), edging out round-one leader St. Catherine University (+20, 596) by a single stroke.
