Men’s Soccer Plays to a Scoreless Draw Against Seattle U in WCC Opener

SEATTLE – Santa Clara men’s soccer and Seattle U played to a scoreless draw in the West Coast Conference opener on Saturday night at Championship Field. The Broncos outshot the Redhawks 15-7 including a 4-1 advantage in shots on goal but were unable to find the back of the net as Seattle U goalkeeper Levi Bieber made four saves. HOW IT HAPPENED: Santa Clara (3-5-1, 0-0-1 WCC) put three of their five first half shots on frame but Bieber was up to the task each time with two of the saves came in the final two minutes of the half.…
