UAB Rallies Past East Carolina, 2-1

GREENVILLE, N.C. – UAB women’s soccer (5-5-1, 2-1-0 American) scored twice in the second half to erase an early deficit and earn a 2-1 road victory over East Carolina (2-3-6, 1-1-1 American) on Sunday afternoon at Johnson Stadium. East Carolina struck first in the fifth minute when Isabella Gutiérrez found the back of the net to give the Pirates a 1-0 advantage.
