Verduzco Highlights Tennis’ Opening Weekend at Blue and Gold Invite
Karen Verduzco's runner-up finish in singles flight B bracket highlighted George Washington tennis' opening weekend at the Blue and Gold Invite hosted by Navy. GW saw 10 student-athletes participate in the three-day event, totaling 19 wins over the weekend. Verduzco finished the weekend 3-1 in singles play, tallying a 6-1, 6-3 win in the opening round, a win via forfeit in round two and a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the semifinals.
