Washburn wraps up strong day one of Creighton Invite
OMAHA, Neb. -- Washburn men's tennis wrapped up a brief day one of the Creighton Invite with strong success against DI competition on Saturday morning into the afternoon. The Ichabods will wrap up the tournament facing off against the Bluejays on Sunday at 2 p.m. In singles competition Nicolas Hurtado-Novoa claimed a three-set victory over his opponent from Creighton while Keita Kuroda and Petr Leipner each defeated their Bluejay opponent in two sets.
