Borglund Named ECC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week; Becker and Demets Tabbed to Honor Roll

COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Women’s Soccer freshman Astrid Borglund (Stockholm, Sweden/Hersby Gymnasium) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week for Week Five. Junior Anneliese Becker (Stafford, Va./Mountain View) and senior Femke Demets (Avelgem, Belgium/University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) have been tabbed to the Honor Roll. Borglund recorded a team-high four goals and eight points as Mercy went 1-0-1 on the week.
