CNU Sailing Logs Top Five Finish at Jefferson Cup

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Competing in the Jefferson Cup regatta hosted by the University of Virginia, the Christopher Newport sailing team captured a fourth-place finish out of eight teams in the event. The Captains raced to an 82-point effort and were just six points shy of second place Hampton University. Virginia Tech pulled away for the team victory but the next five finishers were separated by just 22 total points.
