Engineers Drop Non-League Meeting at Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — The RPI men’s soccer team generated a strong second-half response but could not overcome an early deficit in a 3-1 setback to unbeaten Middlebury this evening at South Street Field. Justin Woodbine provided the Engineers’ goal, while RPI outshot the Panthers 10-2 after halftime and 12-11 overall. Middlebury opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Dylan Payne finished a setup from Harper Nicholl.
