Larry Nassar among the thousands of sex offenders removed from Michigan registry following Supreme Court ruling

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Former physician Larry Nassar is among more than 20,000 convicted sex offenders removed from Michigan’s sex offender registry, according to a Facebook post Tuesday by the Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The removal follows a major ruling earlier this month by the Michigan Supreme Court determining that individuals who committed sex offenses prior to July 2011 cannot be required to comply with the state’s current sex offender registry law.
