Red Sox’s Roman Anthony leaves Game 1 vs. Yankees

The Boston Red Sox lifted one of their most important hitters from Game 1 of the wild-card round. Designated hitter Roman Anthony was replaced by pinch-hitter Andruw Monasterio in the top of the sixth inning. Anthony had struck out twice in the game, but no reason was given for the change.
