Women’s Tennis Secures 8th Win With 6-1 Victory at UDC

WASHINGTON, DC. – Opening the week on the road in the nation’s capital, the Queens College women’s tennis team faced the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action Tuesday afternoon. Queens captured the doubles point before winning five of six singles matches to complete the series sweep of the Firebirds, 6-1. Senior Lilie Bizouerne clinched the match for the Knights with her straight-set victory at No. 3 singles. With the victory, Queens improves to 8-1 overall and 8-1 in CACC play, moving one step closer to earning the program’s first-ever CACC postseason berth.…
