Women’s Tennis sends four to ITA Southeast Regional

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Four members of the Salisbury University women’s tennis team dusted off their tournament chops at the annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Championship, hosted by the University of Mary Washington this past weekend. Gibelle Beaujon and Cleo Solomon advanced to the round of 16 in the open doubles championship flight, dispatching Lily Ganjbaksh and Katherine Yao of St. Mary’s (Md.) 8-2 in the round of 64 before taking down UMW’s Madeleine Holman and Rita Taylor 8-2 in the round of 32.
