Golden Knights sign William Karlsson to two-year contract extension

William Karlsson isn't going anywhere. The Vegas Golden Knights announced Wednesday that the forward has signed a two-year contract extension set to begin next season worth an average annual value of $6.75 million. Karlsson, 33, has been with the Golden Knights since their inaugural 2017-28 season after being selected from the Columbus Blue Jackets in the expansion draft. He became a Stanley Cup champion with the team in 2023. A native of Marsta, Sweden, Karlsson has played in 753 career NHL regular-season games with the Golden Knights, Blue Jackets and Anaheim Ducks, posting 453 points (183 goals and 270 assists)....
